I’ve spent the week in friends’ new(ish) homes, seeing how they’ve curated things that transcend addresses and added new pieces since settling in. Lots of catching up over the sound of a Stanley measuring tape retracting as we imagine how a 7×10 rug might actually look in the living room.
Nothing too robust today — just an honest list of things I’ve sent to friends this week. There’s almost no through line, except that I combed through J.Crew’s summer sale and pulled a handful of random finds.
Ashley Mary’s ‘Big Stripe Gal’ print is waiting for me at home — I’ve long loved Ashley’s work. It deeply reminds me of my favorite Minneapolis years so I’ve been waiting for a piece that felt like me and landed on this from her latest release. I hope that it fits one of the 17 empty frames that I’ve got stockpiled (it won’t).
